Gene and Irene H. have been happily married for over sixty years. They have been blessed by God with a large family, special friends and success in the oil business. Gene, at age 86, still goes to the office every day. Gene and Irene have turned their blessings from God into blessings for others, including Turning Point. Gene and Irene have been supporters of Turning Point since the 1990's. Irene came across Dr. Jeremiah on the radio one day and found his voice so commanding that she didn't change the station. Irene was hooked by the end of the week and the couple have been followers ever since.

About a year after tuning in to Turning Point for the first time, Gene and Irene needed to make a trip to Los Angeles, California. Irene told Gene they should find out where Shadow Mountain Church was located so they could visit. After some help from their hotel staff, they found their way to Shadow Mountain Community Church on a Sunday morning for the early service. During the "meet and greet" session, Gene and Irene learned they were sitting next to the young man who introduces Dr. Jeremiah on the radio. He asked if they would like to meet Pastor Jeremiah in between services and they were thrilled. They met Pastor Jeremiah and found him to be gracious and very much the same man he is on the radio and television.

Gene and Irene have been tremendous supporters of Turning Point ever since. They have attended Turning Point events and have come to love the family and the staff just as they love Pastor Jeremiah. Gene and Irene have generously supported the ministry with financial gifts and continue to do so.

Irene: We LOVE this ministry. I cannot tell you how confidant we are of the moral validity of the Turning Point teachings. It is an absolute joy to be a small part in bringing the message of our Lord Jesus to others around the world by supporting Turning Point.
